Over the last 3 years the culinary standards of the Stellenbosch area has taken a huge step forwards with the addition of several new top restaurants (The Restauarnt @ Jordan, Waterkloof, Christophe, etc) and still several planned to be openend in 2010. With the likes of top chefs as Bertus Basson (Overture), David Higgins (Rust & Vrede), George Jardine (Jardine Restaurant and The Restaurant @ Jordan) and several others, Stellenbosch is rapidly growing into the WINE & FOOD capital of South Africa. The confirmation can be found in the ratings in the Eat Out 2010.
